Caedmon got off to another strong start! I feel very proud of him, because the little man is a fighter.
It has taken me a long time to understand this, but I now know that the process is the most important thing, when it comes to being successful. Not everyone will invent the ipod, but everyone can be their absolute best. We have no control over results. The only things we can control at any give time are our attitude, our effort, and our concentration. The results will take care of themselves.
I can’t control how uncomfortable my circumstances are, but I can control my attitude within them.
I cannot dictate what obstacles might come my way, but I can control the effort I put into overcoming them.
I certainly cannot control all the things that might distract me in life, but I can maintain focus on the task at hand.
Caedmon seems to already have this concept grasped. He gets up and goes to work every morning with an infectious attitude, a tireless effort, and a laser focus to do the best he possibly can. Everyday, one or more of Caedmon’s therapists comments about his remarkable effort or overcoming joy, what more could anyone ask?
Here is a brief video. Day 6.
